Carla has been providing comprehensive financial planning services to executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, retirees and families for over 20 years. As a financial planner, she has worked exclusively as a fee-only financial planner. The experience has provided her exposure to diverse planning areas, including retirement planning, tax planning, cash management and estate planning. Carla particularly enjoys the challenge of capturing the many details to be considered when making difficult financial planning decisions, and then making those decisions easy for clients to understand.

Carla is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners. She was very proud to receive the prestigious Fellow of FPSC distinction in 2013 in recognition of her volunteerism, more specifically, her involvement in Financial Planning Standards Council's examination development process.

Connie Hykaway

Connie is a Senior Advisor and Trust Officer who assists clients of Dean Trimble Wealth Management with the review of their estate plans and advises on the use trust services. With her significant experience in providing estate planning assistance to affluent clients, she provides detailed information to help clients clarify their wishes and understand the options they should consider when preparing their wills, powers of attorney, and personal directives. Her goal is to help clients achieve a peace of mind by knowing that their affairs are in order.

Connie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association. She has her TEP designation from the Society Trust and Estate Practitioners.

She has 17 years of experience in providing estate planning assistance to affluent clients. She joined National Bank Trust at the beginning of 2016 and has been working with clients throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan to develop their estate plans. She is able to make clients feel warm and comfortable and empowered during a process which can be considered overwhelming.

Connie has two children who occupy much of her free time. She is also an active volunteer with several Calgary Stampede agricultural committees.

She plays a vital role ensuring our clients legacy is secured while also protecting the financial security of your loved ones.

Cori is an active member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Estate Planning Council of Calgary, Advocis, Financial Planning Standards Council, and FPA Canada and US.

Cori specialties are; Retirement Income & Estate Planning, Business Succession Planning, Insurance and Risk Management, Group Pensions and Benefits, Charitable Gifting.
