Colin Fagnan

Spoken languages : English and French

Born and raised in Edmonton, Colin Fagnan recently graduated with a master's in Canadian Studies from the University of Alberta, specializing in political sciences. A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II scholarship in 2015 for academic excellence, Colin has always been passionate about the world of education and learning. With two undergrad degrees, one in philosophy and one in the humanities, Colin is interested by a wide variety of fields and topics. This is especially showcased by his work in both the public and private sectors, both with the government and with the universities, and is especially excited to take his first steps into the financial world to broaden his personal and professional skills.

Colin has always taken a special interest in language, having learnt to speak 5 different languages during his travels abroad for both studies and work, and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese. Given his francophone background, he's always happy to be of service to clients whose first language is likewise French.

Though he has lived in a total of five countries, Colin loves to call Edmonton home, where his family resides and where he cheers for his Edmonton Oilers. Growing up as an avid sports' fan (having played hockey and soccer most of his life), he has enjoyed trying new sports such as futsal (Brazilian indoor soccer) among others. Growing up in a large French-Canadian family, he knew a thing or two about competitiveness and enjoys leading an active life with hiking, camping and travelling among his favourite activities.
