In the financial services industry every major firm has similar products and services. Some firms deliver those services in a different fashion compared to others. In my opinion, the one thing that is rarely conveyed to clients by Financial Advisors in our industry is “why” they have chosen this profession.

Here is why I do what I do what I do…

  • I believe that when investing hard earned money, emotions can sometimes get the better of clients. Fear and greed, which is propagated by our media, cause investors to behave irrationally. My mission is to make sure investors make informed, rational decisions with a focus on capital preservation and effective risk management through diversification of assets.

  • My chosen profession affords me the ability to meet many people from all walks of life. I am passionate about giving back to my community and also about boating. I am actively involved in the Canada Power and Sail Squadrons; a national organization that teaches various levels of course and promotes safe boating practices.

  • On a personal level, I was raised in a one-income family ever since my Mom was widowed when I was very young. I want people to be prepared for when the unexpected happens. I help them plan for events they expect to happen such as the purchase of home and also for when the unexpected happens like the death of a spouse or loved one.
