November 2014 - 50 Best Employers in Canada List for 2015
National Bank ranked among the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the 10th time

National Bank is proud to announce that it has again been named to the list of the 50 Best Employers in Canada. This 10th nomination demonstrates the sustained commitment of employees and their confidence in the organization. The 50 Best Employers in Canada ranking is compiled every year by Aon Hewitt, a consulting firm recognized for the quality of its research on workplace environments, as a way to measure employee engagement across the country. It is based on an opinion survey of employees, leaders and human resources professionals of participating businesses.

October 2014 - Canada’s CEO of the Year
Louis Vachon named Canada’s CEO of the Year by Canadian Business
National Bank’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Louis Vachon, has been named Canada’s CEO of the Year by Canadian Business magazine. This distinction recognizes Mr. Vachon’s achievements as leader of one of the country’s largest companies, and spotlights his major contribution to the business community and to Canada’s economic and social development.

September 2014 – The World’s Greenest Banks
National Bank Among the 20 Greenest Banks in the World
For the third consecutive year, National Bank has been named one of the leading banks in the world for its environmental performance, according to the latest ranking of The World’s Greenest Banks by internationally renowned Bloomberg Markets magazine. This ranking attests to the numerous initiatives and partnerships with various businesses and organizations that National Bank has been developing for several years to further contribute to sustainable community development.

September 2014 – Best Banking Awards in Canada
National Bank honoured for the quality of its customer service
National Bank is proud to be the recipient of two awards for the quality of its customer service in the Ipsos 2014 Best Banking Awards in Canada. As the country's leading provider of public opinion research, Ipsos Reid presents the Best Banking Awards to acknowledge and honour financial institutions that receive the highest ratings from their clients for efficient personal banking services.

National Bank was recognized in the ATM Banking Excellence category and, for the second consecutive year, in the Automated Telephone Banking Excellence category. In both cases, National Bank received the award from among all the financial institutions surveyed.

July 2014 – North American Structured Products Conference
National Bank Once Again Rewarded for its Structured Products
For the third year in a row, National Bank, represented by its structured products team, won in the Best Product Performance in Canada – Notes sub-category at the North American Structured Products Conference 2014, held in Boston.
